Jill
Huntley has over twenty years experience working on health care policy
issues. She has worked at HPIO since its inception in 2004 and serves
as the staff liaison to the HPIO Board of Directors. She has key
responsibilities in the areas of board governance, strategic planning,
and program evaluation. Prior to HPIO, Ms. Huntley served as the Senior
Assistant for Policy & Operations for the Office of Ohio Health
Plans (state Medicaid program). Additionally, she had senior policy and
administrative responsibilities at the Ohio Department of Health, where
she worked for the medically handicapped children’s and quality
assurance programs.
Ms. Huntley received her Bachelor of Arts degree, as well as her Master
of Public Administration degree, from The Ohio State University. She
has a strong interest in the area of creativity and its application to
the work place. She volunteers for CASA (Court Appointed Special
Advocates) of Franklin County, which advocates on behalf of children in
central Ohio who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected.
